Preventive Care

Routine cleanings and checkups are among the easiest ways to ensure a healthy smile and straightforward checkup exams.

While it varies, on average, patients should have their teeth cleaned at least every six months, this minimizes the amount of plaque and bacteria in your mouth, which can contribute to bad breath, gum disease, tooth decay, and toothaches.

  • During your dental exam, Drs. Alex or Kenya will sit down with you to address any concerns you have.
  • Digital X-rays, which offer the lowest dose of radiation, may be taken, if necessary, periodically to assess the health of your teeth and periodontal health.
  • Our smile team will discuss proper oral hygiene habits, including brushing and flossing techniques to help keep your smile healthy and glowing.
  • Drs. Alex and Kenya will evaluate your teeth and gum, and perform a complimentary smile assessment and provide you with suitable treatment options and tips for prevention to practice at home.
  • Drs. Alex and Kenya and our skilled hygienists will help you maintain routine cleanings and exams on a schedule that suits you.

If it's been six months since your last dental checkup, then it's time to contact our practice and schedule your next appointment!
